1906 „Sociéte de la Viscose Suisse“ is founded and starts production of viscose filament yarns (artificial silk)
1948 Start-up of production of high-tenacity viscose filament yarns for the tire industry
1950/51 Switzerland’s first nylon factory is completed and starts production of polyamide 6.6 filament yarns for textile applications
1961 Start-up of production of polyamide 6 filament yarns – textured for carpet manufacture and flat for technical applications
1980 Production of viscose filament yarns discontinued
1993 New production facility for high-tenacity polyamide 6.6 filament yarns used in tire goes online
1997 Consolidation and expansion of monofilament production
1998 Sale of Setila, Widnau / Sale of the flock production to Claremeont Flock Corporation (SwissFlock)
2005 Sale of Tersuisse Multifils SA to Ferrari
